Jaded Hipster Choir

Jaded Hipster Choir are Thomas & Franny of  Edmonton, Canada, doing sweet  electro bordering techno layered pop flavoured music. First track (Courtesy of Thomas) is taken from their Party Favor Capsules EP,  which you can get on their Bandcamp, the second is a cover for Joanna Newsom’s Peach Plum Pear, only one of the best covers I’ve ever heard.

EARL- EARL  [VIMEO 12056212]

Posted By Carl Clandestine. Directed by AG Rojas. It’s not a “nice” video.

The Daredevil Christopher Wright – Stewardess [VIMEO 13206073]

Directed by MARK & SOPHIE. This vid brings so many associations to my mind, mostly sad, the snowy scenery looks like my first big puzzle which took me years to ensemble only to find that a few pieces were missing, just towards the end, also don’t know if the directors are aware of the striking resemblance of some shots to the childhood memories of the hero of Solaris by Andrei Tarkovsky.  The Daredevil Christopher Wright is a Wisonsin based indie act, this is taken from their debut album, In Deference to a Broken Back , released last year.
